Welcome to TheraLume. By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your use of our matching services, practitioner directory, and administrative tools.
1. Nature of Services
TheraLume provides a platform to facilitate the discovery and connection between mental health practitioners and prospective clients. We are a matching and administrative platform; we do not provide direct clinical services ourselves.
2. The Matching Process
Our matching algorithm uses data provided by both clients and practitioners to suggest potential therapeutic alliances. While we strive for accuracy, the final decision to enter into a therapeutic relationship rests solely with the client and the practitioner.
- Clinical Responsibility. Practitioners listed on our platform are independent professionals and maintain full clinical responsibility for the care they provide.
- Verification. We verify the licensing and credentials of practitioners at the time of onboarding, but clients are encouraged to perform their own due diligence.
3. Privacy and Data
Your privacy is paramount. All data collected through our Matching Quiz and practitioner profiles is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable health data regulations (including HIPAA where applicable).
4. Payments and Cancellations
Payments for clinical services are handled between the practitioner and the client, though they may be facilitated by our administrative tools. Each practitioner has their own cancellation and billing policies which you must agree to before starting care.
5. Limitation of Liability
TheraLume is not liable for the clinical outcomes, conduct, or advice of practitioners found through the platform. We provide the "doorway" but do not inhabit the room.
